The holiday is celebrated on the occasion of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/lahore-board-postpones-exams-scheduled-for-sep-17-heres-why\/\">Eid Milad-un-Nabi<\/a>, which is the blessed birth of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).<\/p>\n<p>This decision is in line with the recent announcement of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee on September 4, 2024. The committee confirmed that the moon of the Islamic month of Rabi-ul-Awwal was not sighted, which would make Rabi-ul-Awwal start on September 6 and Eid-ul-Fitr on September 6. Milad-un-Nabi will be celebrated on September 17.<\/p>\n<p>12 Rabi Al-Awwal, also known as Milad-un-Nabawi, holds great significance for Muslims around the world.
