{"id":47962,"date":"2024-09-09T22:29:03","date_gmt":"2024-09-09T17:29:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=47962"},"modified":"2024-09-09T22:29:03","modified_gmt":"2024-09-09T17:29:03","slug":"public-holiday-on-september-11-for-quaid-e-azams-death-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/public-holiday-on-september-11-for-quaid-e-azams-death-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"Public holiday on September 11 for Quaid e Azam\u2019s death anniversary?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The 76th death anniversary of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nation-commemorates-146th-birthday-of-quaid-e-azam-with-zeal-and-fervor\/\">Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah<\/a> will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 11.<\/p>\n<p>The government has not announced any public holiday on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/86th-death-anniversary-of-allama-iqbal-being-observed-today\/\">death anniversary<\/a> on September 11.<\/p>\n<p>The government has the power to declare a public holiday on this day, but it is not possible to do so.<\/p>\n<p>According to the public holiday circular issued by the government for 2024, this day is not included in the list of public holidays.<\/p>\n<p>This day is traditionally celebrated with recitation of Quran and recitation of Fateha at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
