{"id":48771,"date":"2024-09-16T17:53:11","date_gmt":"2024-09-16T12:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=48771"},"modified":"2024-09-16T17:53:11","modified_gmt":"2024-09-16T12:53:11","slug":"woman-seeks-divorce-40-days-after-marriage-from-husband-for-not-bathing-daily","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/woman-seeks-divorce-40-days-after-marriage-from-husband-for-not-bathing-daily\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman seeks divorce 40 days after marriage from husband for not bathing daily"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AGRA: A strange incident happened in the Indian state of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/indian-religious-event-stampede-claims-at-least-87-lives-report\/\">Uttar Pradesh<\/a> where a woman asked for divorce from her husband after 40 days of marriage for taking a daily bath.<\/p>\n<p>According to media reports, the woman said that her husband bathed only once or twice a month due to which his body smelled bad.<\/p>\n<p>The woman approached the Family Counseling Center in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/india-thumbs-pakistan-2-1-to-remain-unbeaten-in-asian-hockey-champions-trophy-2024\/\">Agra<\/a>, and expressed the disability of living with a man who cannot maintain personal hygiene.<\/p>\n<p>During the hearing, the man admitted that he usually bathed only once or twice a month but splashed Ganges water on himself once a week.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that in the last 40 days since their marriage, he had taken a bath six times on his wife&#8217;s insistence.<\/p>\n<p>A lawyer said the woman returned to her parents&#8217; home a few weeks after the wedding after the couple had a heated argument.<\/p>\n<p>Her family then filed a complaint at the local police station and filed for divorce.<\/p>\n<p>The man later agreed to adopt hygienic practices and bathe daily.
