The robbers had also stolen Rs410,000 in cash from a citizen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRanger&#8217;s inspector was going for depositing cash to Nawabshah City in his vehicle when the suspect opened fire upon seeing him,\u201d the police statement said.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the gunfire, the inspector\u00a0sustained injuries and was shifted to the PMC Hospital Nawabshah. However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Nawabshah Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tanveer Tunio said that the police have arrested the accused and recovered the looted cash from them.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in a statement, paid homage to Rangers Inspector Shah Rukh Khan and expressed heartfelt condolences to his family.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Shah Rukh Khan had achieved the highest rank of martyrdom while performing his duties.
