{"id":49487,"date":"2024-09-23T12:18:25","date_gmt":"2024-09-23T07:18:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=49487"},"modified":"2024-09-23T12:18:25","modified_gmt":"2024-09-23T07:18:25","slug":"11-police-officers-fired-from-duty-over-protest-in-bannu-district-details-inside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/11-police-officers-fired-from-duty-over-protest-in-bannu-district-details-inside\/","title":{"rendered":"11 police officers fired from duty over protest in Bannu district, Details inside"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BANNU: Eleven police officers in Bannu have been dismissed from service by the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lhc-summons-sialkot-dpo-over-missing-journalist-case-family-seeks-justice\/\">District Police Officer (DPO)<\/a> due to their ongoing protests against the arrest of a former colleague.<\/p>\n<p>The protesting officers had also refused to participate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/kp-reports-1st-polio-case-in-year-2024-amid-vaccination-challenges\/\">polio vaccination campaign<\/a> as a form of protest.<\/p>\n<p>The dismissed officers include<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/man-installs-surveillance-camera-on-daughters-head-heres-why\/\"> Head Constables<\/a> Sher Aslam and Mir Zaman and Constables, Zaheenullah, Fareedullah, Tauseefullah, Hazratullah, M. Qayyaz, Bakhtiar, Farman Ullah, and Anwar Ali.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, this decision follows a formal notice issued to the control room regarding the protesting policemen. The DPO&#8217;s action highlights the importance of maintaining law and order, as well as upholding the integrity of police duties.<\/p>\n<p>In another development, two traffic wardens were suspended for issuing a challan to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/ccp-issue-notices-to-20-brands-for-deceptive-end-of-season-sales-discount\/\">Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)<\/a> MPA Sher Ali Afridi, who had violated traffic laws in Peshawar.<\/p>\n<p>The MPA had complained about the wardens&#8217; behavior, citing inappropriate language.
