According to initial reports, the explosion was caused by a short circuit in a room where weapons were kept.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/dig-malakand-dpo-swat-dismissed-from-posts-over-mala-jabba-incident\/\">District Police Officer<\/a> (DPO) of Swabi confirmed the blast and said that investigations are underway to find out the exact cause of the blast.<\/p>\n<p>The explosion took place inside the police station resulting in a large number of casualties.<\/p>\n<p>Hospital officials have confirmed that one child was brought dead, while 26 injured have been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ).<\/p>\n<p>5 more injured were shifted to Bacha Khan Medical Complex for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency services responded quickly to the scene, and further updates are expected as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SWABI: A tragic explosion at the city police station in Swabi has claimed the life of a child and injured 31 others, here on Thursday.
