{"id":50558,"date":"2024-09-30T23:10:02","date_gmt":"2024-09-30T18:10:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=50558"},"modified":"2024-09-30T23:10:02","modified_gmt":"2024-09-30T18:10:02","slug":"justice-munib-akhtar-declared-the-revision-order-on-article-63-a-as-illegal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/featured\/justice-munib-akhtar-declared-the-revision-order-on-article-63-a-as-illegal\/","title":{"rendered":"Justice Munib Akhtar declared the revision order on Article 63-A as illegal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/justice-munib-akhtar-to-take-oath-as-acting-cjp-tomorrow\/\">Justice Munib Akhtar<\/a> of the Supreme Court on Monday declared the order of hearing the revision case related to the interpretation of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/supreme-court-to-hear-article-63-a-review-petition-on-this-date\/\">Article 63-A<\/a> as illegal.<\/p>\n<p>According to media reports, Justice Muneeb Akhtar wrote another letter to the Registrar of the Supreme Court stating that the case was to be heard by a 5-member larger bench.<\/p>\n<p>He further wrote in the letter that the four-member bench cannot hear the revision case related to Article 63-A in the court. He said that the order for today&#8217;s hearing was sent to him which has his name on it but no signature.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Muneeb Akhtar remarked that the four judges sitting on the bench are respectable but today&#8217;s hearing is not in accordance with the law and rules.<\/p>\n<p>He said that he had already detailed his stand in a letter and wanted to register his protest against today&#8217;s hearing order.<\/p>\n<p>He also stated that today&#8217;s hearing order is not a judicial order and the order on interpretation of Article 63-A has no significance in the revision case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Justice Munib Akhtar of the Supreme Court on Monday declared the order of hearing the revision case related to the interpretation of Article 63-A as illegal.
