Most of them used to endorse my knowledge about their religion, he said, adding that many were accepting Islam over my preaching at the time.<\/p>\n<p>In an exclusive interview with <em>ABN News\/Daily Ausaf,\u00a0<\/em>Naik said that he was framed after the 2016 Dhaka terrorist attack when one of the terrorists was found following his official Facebook account.<\/p>\n<p>Following the incident, he added that the Indian media, which he termed <em>Godi Media<\/em>, started propagating against him and made a false narrative saying that &#8220;I inspired the terrorist&#8221;. &#8220;Afterward, the Indian parliament was told that no evidence was found against Zakir Naik and his organization being involved in terrorist activities,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TQpozfa61cA?si=tYCMmNlVspcTz-Jl\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He further said that my organization, the <span class=\"ILfuVd\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"hgKElc\">Islamic Research Foundation (IRF)<\/span><\/span> was banned over fake allegations when I was performing Umrah in 2016. &#8220;When they booked me in a money laundering and several other cases, I was in Saudi Arabia and made a decision to flew to Malaysia instead of India,&#8221; he said in an interview with <em>ABN News.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He further added, &#8220;Indian authorities later accused me of terrorism and moved Interpol for my arrest, which was rejected by the agency saying that the allegation is deemed political.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"wDYxhc\" lang=\"en-FR\" data-md=\"61\">\n<div class=\"LGOjhe\" role=\"heading\" data-attrid=\"wa:\/description\" aria-level=\"3\" data-hveid=\"CCAQAA\">\n<div id=\"1\" class=\"ads__container inline-story-add inline_ad1\">Answering the question about why he chose Malaysia for asylum, Dr. Naik said that Malaysia, a majority Muslim country, is one of the Muslim countries that has total sovereignty and possesses no influence from any foreign country.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Eminent religious scholar Dr. Zakir Naik said that he left India because of the growing hatred of the Modi government against him for being an influential Muslim scholar in the country among many others.
