ISLAMABAD: Pakistan\u2019s top weightlifter, Nooh Dastgir Butt<\/a>, achieved the title of Commonwealth Champion in the 120kg category at the ongoing Commonwealth Powerlifting Classic and Equipped Championship in South Africa’s\u00a0Sun City.<\/p>\n

In his debut at the powerlifting event, Commonwealth Games<\/a> champion Noah Butt won three gold medals and one bronze.<\/p>\n

The Pride of Performance Award winner lifted an impressive 370kg in the squat to earn a gold medal, etching his name in history as Pakistan\u2019s first powerlifting gold medalist.<\/p>\n

Butt also secured gold in the bench press with a lift of 210kg and a bronze medal in the deadlift category, lifting 280kg. He lifted a total of 860kg in the open category, claiming the championship title.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This maiden appearance in powerlifting marks a significant milestone for Butt, who previously earned multiple medals in weightlifting.<\/p>\n
