LAHORE: Recently, chicken prices<\/a> have risen in Lahore, Punjab, even as overall inflation has decreased.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, the cost of chicken in Lahore, Rawalpindi and various other cities in Punjab surged to between Rs584 and Rs 595 per kilogram.<\/p>\n

Last week the price of chicken was Rs 550 per kg. Now the official rates are listed at Rs 584 per kg, but many poultry shops are selling meat at around Rs 600 per kg.<\/p>\n
