{"id":54095,"date":"2024-10-28T17:25:20","date_gmt":"2024-10-28T12:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=54095"},"modified":"2024-10-28T17:25:20","modified_gmt":"2024-10-28T12:25:20","slug":"kp-govt-introduces-free-opd-services-under-sehat-insaf-card","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/kp-govt-introduces-free-opd-services-under-sehat-insaf-card\/","title":{"rendered":"KP govt introduces free OPD services under Sehat Insaf card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: In a major healthcare breakthrough, the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/latest-news\/sehat-card-plus-scheme-in-kp-reviewed\/\">Sehat Insaf Card<\/a> initiative has introduced free<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/rawal-institute-of-health-sciences-launches-public-health-card-program\/\"> outpatient department<\/a> (OPD) services for patients in four districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, namely Mardan, Kohat, Malakand, and Chitral.<\/p>\n<p>This project is financially backed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/german-embassy-to-prioritize-visas-for-deserving-pakistani-students-details-inside\/\">German aid agency<\/a> KFW, with an allocation of \u20ac4.9 million for the pilot phase, which will initially launch in Mardan before expanding to the remaining districts.<\/p>\n<p>The Sehat Insaf Card program was initially launched to cover<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/another-congo-virus-patient-dies-in-quetta\/\"> in-patient department<\/a> (IPD) services across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, starting with these four districts and eventually rolling out to the entire province.<\/p>\n<p>Now, with KFW&#8217;s support, phase two of the program introduces free OPD services for approximately 120,000 families in the selected districts.<\/p>\n<p>The State Life Insurance Corporation has signed an agreement to administer the project, with Health Advisor Ihtesham Ali and Secretary Health Adeel Shah overseeing the process.<\/p>\n<p>The funding for this initiative is largely provided by KFW, accounting for 90% of the total, while the provincial government contributes 10%.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: In a major healthcare breakthrough, the Sehat Insaf Card initiative has introduced free outpatient department (OPD) services for patients in four districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, namely Mardan, Kohat, Malakand, and Chitral.
