{"id":54473,"date":"2024-10-31T17:31:53","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T12:31:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=54473"},"modified":"2024-10-31T17:31:53","modified_gmt":"2024-10-31T12:31:53","slug":"natasha-danish-acquitted-in-karsaz-road-accident-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/natasha-danish-acquitted-in-karsaz-road-accident-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Natasha Danish acquitted in Karsaz Road accident case"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-39fb070e elementor-widget elementor-widget-theme-post-content\" data-id=\"39fb070e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"theme-post-content.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>KARACHI: A district and sessions court in Karachi on Thursday acquitted <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karsaz-accident-case-natasha-iqbal-granted-bail-in-drug-case\/\">Natasha Danish<\/a>, the wife of a prominent businessman, in the case filed over the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karsaz-accident-case-victims-heirs-reach-settlement-with-natasha-danish\/\">Karsaz Road accident<\/a> in August, which claimed the lives of father and daughter.<\/p>\n<p>The court acquitted Natasha after a compromise pact between the parties was submitted in court. The family of the victims pardoned her in the case.<\/p>\n<p>On August 19, a road accident happened on Karachi\u2019s Karsaz Road where a speeding Toyota Land Cruiser hit a motorcycle before plunging onto the service road. As a result, 60-year-old Imran Arif and his 22-year-old daughter Amna died on the spot, while four persons sustained serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, who belonged to a business family in Karachi, was arrested soon after the incident and booked for manslaughter charges.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters, Danish\u2019s lawyer Advocate Amir Mansoob Qureshi said, \u201cThe court has accepted the compromise application and acquitted Natasha from this case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The suspect was not present during the hearing today.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, on September 6, Natasha Danish secured bail in the murder case by a sessions court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>Sindh High Court (SHC) on September 30 granted bail to Natash in a drug-related case against surety bonds worth Rs1 million after her bail pleas in a separate drug case were dismissed twice by the lower courts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: A district and sessions court in Karachi on Thursday acquitted Natasha Danish, the wife of a prominent businessman, in the case filed over the Karsaz Road accident in August, which claimed the lives of father and daughter.
