{"id":55211,"date":"2024-11-06T14:49:24","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T09:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=55211"},"modified":"2024-11-06T14:49:24","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T09:49:24","slug":"kp-govt-to-take-legal-action-against-ict-police-amid-raid-on-kp-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/kp-govt-to-take-legal-action-against-ict-police-amid-raid-on-kp-house\/","title":{"rendered":"KP govt to take legal action against ICT police amid raid on KP house"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to take legal action against the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ppsc-announces-over-1600-new-jobs-in-punjab-police\/\">Islamabad police<\/a> following a raid on the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/kp-teachers-to-shut-down-primary-education-across-province\/\">K-P House<\/a> in Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>A provincial cabinet meeting, chaired by <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/cm-gandapur-declares-education-emergency-in-kp\/\">Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur<\/a>, will discuss the raid and approve legal proceedings against the police action.<\/p>\n<p>This move comes after the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad\/govt-asks-cda-to-explain-rs3-billion-request-for-convention-centre-renovation\/\">Capital Development Authority<\/a> (CDA) sealed the K-P House due to building regulation violations. The CDA had issued several notices to the house&#8217;s management regarding the expiry of its lease, with the latest notice sent on May 3.<\/p>\n<p>However, the management took no action, prompting the sealing of multiple blocks of the facility. Special Magistrate Sardar Muhammad Asif executed the sealing, accompanied by <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/assistant-commissioner-hazim-bangwar-removed-from-office\/\">Assistant Commissioner<\/a> Abdullah and a CDA team.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Chief Minister Gandapur&#8217;s valuables, including two iPhone 15 Pro Max devices, personal documents, a wallet, and a licensed firearm, went missing from the K-P House during the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pm-seeking-briefing-on-ammar-shaheed-chowk-extension\/\">D-Chowk protests<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The loss of his mobile phones has disrupted his communications, and Gandapur has sought help retrieving the contacts.
