{"id":55271,"date":"2024-11-06T19:24:20","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T14:24:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=55271"},"modified":"2024-11-06T19:24:20","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T14:24:20","slug":"nepra-cuts-power-tariff-by-rs1-28-per-unit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/nepra-cuts-power-tariff-by-rs1-28-per-unit\/","title":{"rendered":"NEPRA cuts power tariff by Rs1.28 per unit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/nepra-lowers-electricity-prices-by-rs0-86-per-unit-for-october-2024\/\">NEPRA<\/a>) has reduced electricity rates by Rs 1.28 per unit as part of the September fuel price adjustment, which has not affected K Electric customers.<\/p>\n<p>According to media reports, Nepra has issued a notification of reduction of Rs 1.28 per unit under fuel price adjustment for September 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA-G) had submitted a request for reduction of 71 paise per unit, which was reviewed by Nepra in a public hearing on October 30, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, a reduction of 86 paisa per unit was applied in the August fuel charges adjustment.
