{"id":56092,"date":"2024-11-14T17:07:47","date_gmt":"2024-11-14T12:07:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=56092"},"modified":"2024-11-14T17:07:47","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T12:07:47","slug":"expected-islamabad-mdcat-2024-retake-date-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/expected-islamabad-mdcat-2024-retake-date-revealed\/","title":{"rendered":"Expected Islamabad MDCAT 2024 retake date revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/iba-sukkur-to-re-conduct-mdcat-after-iba-karachi-withdrawal\/\">re-conduct<\/a> of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/expected-sindh-mdcat-2024-retake-date-revealed\/\">MDCAT<\/a>) is expected to be held in Islamabad and Azad Jammu and Kashmir on November 24, 2024 (Sunday).<\/p>\n<p>Sources said that more than 17,000 students have <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/szambu-to-re-conduct-mdcat-in-islamabad-on-this-date\/\">re-registered<\/a> for the MDCAT which will be conducted by the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) on the orders of Islamabad High Court (IHC).<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in September, 53,105 candidates registered for the entrance test showing a significant decrease.<\/p>\n<p>In October, IHC Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir accepted the student\u2019s petition against the MDCAT held in September and ordered the re-conduct of it within one month.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir accepted the petition challenging the exam, declaring the previous MDCAT\u00a0null and void, and instructed the concerned university to conduct a new entrance test.<\/p>\n<p>Several students filed the plea in Islamabad High Court arguing that the MDCAT paper contained questions that were out of the syllabus.
