The Pakistan Cricket Board (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/featured\/pcb-to-announce-aqib-javed-as-new-white-ball-coach-sources\/\">PCB<\/a>) is expected to make a formal announcement of Javed&#8217;s appointment soon.<\/p>\n<p>Following Kirsten&#8217;s resignation, the PCB has appointed red-ball coach Jason Gillespie as the interim white-ball coach for the tour of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/spencer-johnson-shines-as-australia-seals-t20-series-from-pakistan\/\">Australia<\/a>. The board made the announcement in a statement, confirming Gillespie&#8217;s role for the ODI and T20 series against Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Kirsten&#8217;s resignation was due to differences with the PCB, particularly over the decision to remove the coaching pair&#8217;s authority in team selection.
