{"id":56604,"date":"2024-11-19T17:48:38","date_gmt":"2024-11-19T12:48:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=56604"},"modified":"2024-11-19T17:48:38","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T12:48:38","slug":"pakistan-stock-exchange-breaks-record-as-kse-100-index-surges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/pakistan-stock-exchange-breaks-record-as-kse-100-index-surges\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan Stock Exchange breaks record as KSE-100 index surges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/cm-punjab-announces-free-livestock-for-south-punjab-widows-divorcees\/\"> Pakistan Stock Exchange<\/a> (PSX) broke yet another record on Tuesday as the KSE-100 index continued on its record-high streak.<\/p>\n<p>Trading commenced on a positive note accruing 452 points which helped the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/punjab-assembly-approves-agriculture-tax-bill-aimed-at-taxing-livestock-income\/\">KSE-100 index<\/a> to go above the 95,000 threshold reaching 95,448 points.<\/p>\n<p>The aggressive buying trend that started quite early in the day was sustained till the end of the day\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pm-shehbaz-qatari-emir-explores-cooperation-in-trade-investment-energy\/\">trading session<\/a> with the index recording an upward move of 905 points at one stage.<\/p>\n<p>This in turn lifted the KSE -100 Index to an unprecedented level of 95,901 points. This great upturn is in line with the trend in the PSX where there has been an upward trend for a couple of weeks now.<\/p>\n<p>According to market observers, this uptrend is based on positive investor behavior, and consequently, more records have recently been broken.<\/p>\n<p>The continuous uptrend in the stock market is a clear case of the aggregate expectation of the investors who take the performance of the PSX as a healthy indicator of economic bounce back and durability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) broke yet another record on Tuesday as the KSE-100 index continued on its record-high streak.
