{"id":56650,"date":"2024-11-20T11:19:24","date_gmt":"2024-11-20T06:19:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=56650"},"modified":"2024-11-20T11:19:24","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T06:19:24","slug":"lahore-board-hikes-admission-fees-for-private-candidates-for-matric-exams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/lahore-board-hikes-admission-fees-for-private-candidates-for-matric-exams\/","title":{"rendered":"Lahore Board hikes admission fees for private candidates for matric exams"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"post_content d-flex justify-content-center\">\n<p>LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has significantly increased the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/punjab-boards-announce-massive-hike-in-annual-exam-fee\/\">admission fees<\/a> for private candidates for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/federal-board-matric-class-9-10-supply-exam-result-2024-announced\/\">matriculation<\/a> annual exams in 2025, drawing strong opposition from parents.<\/p>\n<p>For class 9, the admission fee has been increased by 36 per cent, which means candidates will now submit Rs 1610 instead of Rs 2200 for the admission.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, candidates appearing for Grade 10 exams will have to pay Rs 2310 in comparison to the previous Rs 3480.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the board also released the fee schedule for the 2025 exams which includes a Rs 1000 certificate fee, Rs 870 processing fee, and a new development fund of Rs 350. As a result, each student will now pay a total of Rs 4,380 to appear for the matriculation exam, up from the previous fee of Rs 2,700.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"post_content d-flex justify-content-center\">\n<p>Admission form fees have also been raised from Rs. 700 to Rs. 900.<\/p>\n<p>All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association (APPS&amp;CA) president Irfan Muzaffar Kayani criticised the hike in fees, calling it a burden on low-income families, and called for a 40-50 per cent reduction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has significantly increased the admission fees for private candidates for matriculation annual exams in 2025, drawing strong opposition from parents.
