{"id":56652,"date":"2024-11-20T11:26:08","date_gmt":"2024-11-20T06:26:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=56652"},"modified":"2024-11-20T11:26:08","modified_gmt":"2024-11-20T06:26:08","slug":"kp-govt-plans-to-solarize-195-healthcare-units","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/kp-govt-plans-to-solarize-195-healthcare-units\/","title":{"rendered":"KP govt plans to solarize 195 healthcare units"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: In a recent development, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced its plan to solarize 195 <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/solar-battery-prices-drop-significantly-in-pakistan-check-new-rates-inside\/\">health centers<\/a> in four districts of the province.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lahore-court-issues-arrest-warrants-for-kp-cm-gandapur\/\">KP Human Capital Investment Program<\/a> (KP-HCIP) of the provincial health department will be responsible for the successful execution of the<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-govt-allocates-rs-4-billion-for-free-solar-panel-initiative\/\"> solarization program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the KP health department, the project will be carried out in Peshawar, Nowshera, Swabi, and Haripur.<\/p>\n<p>According to sources, the project will be financed through grant funding and<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/kp-govt-launches-interest-free-ehsas-loan-scheme\/\"> loan financing<\/a>. The total budget allocation for this project is expected to be a little over Rs 23 billion.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative aims to solarize 151 basic health units (BHUs), 25 rural health centers, 13 Category D hospitals, and six Category C hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Project Director Dr. Ikram Ullah shared the idea and discussed it with Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Health Ihtisham Ali during a briefing.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the advisors issued directives on how this program can be carried out with effective efficiencies.<\/p>\n<p>During the briefing, Dr. Ikram Ullah also revealed that the program will later be expanded to 16 districts while prioritizing the flood-affected healthcare facilities.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: In a recent development, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced its plan to solarize 195 health centers in four districts of the province.
