{"id":57417,"date":"2024-11-27T12:31:25","date_gmt":"2024-11-27T07:31:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=57417"},"modified":"2024-11-27T12:31:25","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T07:31:25","slug":"roads-motorways-re-open-as-pti-protest-ends-in-islamabad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/roads-motorways-re-open-as-pti-protest-ends-in-islamabad\/","title":{"rendered":"Roads, Motorways re-open as PTI protest ends in Islamabad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: After the last nights abrupt ending to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/multiple-injuries-deaths-reported-in-ptis-violent-protest\/\">Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf<\/a> (PTI) protest in federal capital life in twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi is returning to normal.<\/p>\n<p>The National Highway and Motorway Police on early Wednesday, re-opened all<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/motorway-smog-update-m-2-m-4-m-11-opened-after-early-closure-on-thursday\/\"> Motorways<\/a> including M1, M2, M3, M4 for all commuters to travel efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>Lahore Motorway M1, M2 from Lahore, Sialkot, Eastern Bypass, Multan, Ring Road are completely open for traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Motorway M3 (Lahore-Abdul Hakeem) and Motorway M4 (Pindi Bhattian-Multan) have been restored for travel.<\/p>\n<p>The containers removal from the roads is in process after which major key routes will be operational again.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/police-officials-block-all-roads-leading-to-adiala-jail-amid-pti-power-rally\/\">Islamabad Roads Update<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>According to recent updates, Islamabad key roads including Expressway, Srinagar Highway, Sawan Bridge, Koral Old Air-port, T-chowk, Chungi No 26, Faisal Avenue, Jinnah Avenue from Rescue 15 to Express Chowk are now open for traffic.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced that schools, roads, and metro bus services would soon be operational again.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, he confirmed that schools would reopen from tomorrow, roads would be cleared, and internet services, as well as the Metro bus system, would be fully restored at the earliest today.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: After the last nights abrupt ending to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest in federal capital life in twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi is returning to normal.
