{"id":57609,"date":"2024-11-28T19:46:24","date_gmt":"2024-11-28T14:46:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=57609"},"modified":"2024-11-28T19:46:24","modified_gmt":"2024-11-28T14:46:24","slug":"supreme-court-of-pakistan-announces-winter-holidays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad\/supreme-court-of-pakistan-announces-winter-holidays\/","title":{"rendered":"Supreme Court of Pakistan announces winter holidays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The notification issued on Thursday said that the winter vacation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/featured\/supreme-court-of-pakistan-accepts-review-petition-in-article-63-a-case\/\">Supreme Court of Pakistan<\/a> will commence from December 18 and continue till December 31.<\/p>\n<p>As per the details, \u201cUnder Order II, Rule 5 of the Supreme Court Rules, 1980, the Hon\u2019ble Chief Justice of Pakistan has fixed Wednesday, December 18, 2024 as the date from which the winter vacation of the Court will commence,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>The court will reopen on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The notification clarified that the offices of the Supreme Court will remain open during the vacations except public holidays. Important cases will be scheduled for hearing before the available benches with the approval of the committee.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, Punjab Secretary Schools Khalid Nazir Wattoo announced that the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/punjab-announces-winter-vacations-for-schools-across-province\/\">winter vacation<\/a> in schools in the province will commence from December 20, 2024.
