{"id":57664,"date":"2024-11-29T16:48:27","date_gmt":"2024-11-29T11:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=57664"},"modified":"2024-11-29T16:48:27","modified_gmt":"2024-11-29T11:48:27","slug":"chicken-prices-decrease-in-lahore-punjab-latest-rates-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/chicken-prices-decrease-in-lahore-punjab-latest-rates-here\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken prices decrease in Lahore, Punjab; Latest rates here"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Due to the decline in inflation, prices of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/chicken-prices-decrease-in-lahore-punjab-check-latest-rates-here\/\">chicken<\/a>, pulses, and other <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/ghee-cooking-oil-prices-increase-in-pakistan\/\">commodities<\/a> in decreased Punjab cities, including Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/prices-of-fruits-vegetables-surge-significantly-amid-pti-protest\/\">Sensitive Price Index<\/a> (SPI) based inflation for the week ended November 28, 2024, decreased by 0.03 percent.<\/p>\n<p>During the week, out of 51 items, prices of 12 (23.53 percent) items increased, 09 (17.65 percent) items decreased and 30 (58.82 percent) items remained stable. The chicken prices declined by 3.78 percent, tomatoes by 2.23 percent, pulse gram by 1.60 percent, and rice basmati broken by 1.15 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The price of chicken meat in Lahore decreased by Rs15, fixed at Rs453 per kg as compared to Rs468 per kg on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the price of live broiler chicken decreased by Rs10 to Rs 299 per kilogram in the wholesale market and Rs 313 in the retail market.<\/p>\n<h2>Poultry prices in Punjab<\/h2>\n<p>Live Broiler (per kilogram) sold wholesale: Rs. 299<\/p>\n<p>Live Broiler (per kilogram) sold in retail: Rs. 313<\/p>\n<p>Broiler Meat (per kilogram) sold in retail: Rs. 453<\/p>\n<p>Farms eggs (per packet): Rs. 10380<\/p>\n<p>Farms eggs (dozen): Rs. 350<\/p>\n<p>According to the official rates, there was no Rs1 change in the prices of eggs from yesterday, while the price of eggs per dozen in Lahore and other cities of Punjab is Rs 350.<\/p>\n<p>As per the Sensitive Price Index (SPI) based inflation, the year-on-year trend saw a major decrease in the prices of wheat flour (35.17 percent), chilies powder (20.00 percent), diesel (13.92 percent), petrol (11.64 percent), tea lipton (9.91 percent), rice basmati broken (9.37 percent), pulse masoor (9.14 percent), bread (5.99 percent), electricity charges for q1 (5.07 percent), cooking oil 5 liter (2.13 percent) and sugar (1.71 percent).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Due to the decline in inflation, prices of chicken, pulses, and other commodities in decreased Punjab cities, including Lahore.
