The sudden addition to the zoo collection has gained rapid popularity amongst the tourists.<\/p>\n<p>The cubs were born to three lionesses, with one lioness giving birth to three cubs, while the other two each had two cubs.<br \/>\nIn addition to the lion cubs, three healthy <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/news\/salman-khans-film-tiger-3-has-set-a-new-record\/\">Royal Bengal tiger<\/a> cubs were also born at the zoo in recent weeks.<\/p>\n<p>According to the zoo\u2019s director, Tanveer Ahmed Janjua, all the cubs are healthy. However, four of the lion cubs were not accepted by their mothers and are being hand-fed by the<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/dengue-killer-fish-released-in-lahore-zoo-pond-to-control-dengue-mosquitoes\/\"> zoo staff<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Before the lion cubs, three Royal Bengal tiger cubs were born a few weeks ago. With the birth of these new cubs, the lion population at the zoo has grown from 22 to 29.<\/p>\n<p>In another development, the port city zoo&#8217;s one and only elephant, Madhubala who is currently 16 years old has been transferred to Safari Park, Four Paws ( International Animal Welfare Organization) announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The relocation of the last remaining solitary elephant is finally done, and Madhubala has now joined the two elephants, Sonia and Malika, after some fifteen years in the Safari park.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Four Paws announced that the training for Madhubala entry and exit out of the container has been completed with success. Today the carriage carrying the elephant was lifted by a carne.<\/p>\n<p>Primary assistance was provided for better and safer relocation procedures during the transport of the elephant, including briefings to clear the roads.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: In a recent development, Lahore Safari Zoo has welcomed seven new loin cubs including two white loins.
