{"id":58692,"date":"2024-12-10T11:20:44","date_gmt":"2024-12-10T06:20:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=58692"},"modified":"2024-12-10T11:20:44","modified_gmt":"2024-12-10T06:20:44","slug":"fbr-seals-two-well-known-restaurants-in-islamabad-over-fake-receipts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/fbr-seals-two-well-known-restaurants-in-islamabad-over-fake-receipts\/","title":{"rendered":"FBR seals two well-known restaurants in Islamabad over fake receipts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: In a recent crackdown against illegal activities, the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/fbr-imposes-new-tax-on-wedding-halls\/\">Regional Tax Office<\/a> (RTO) closed two well-known eateries in the federal capital after the residents complained that the restaurants were producing phony invoices and receipts.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement from the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/fbr-proposes-restriction-over-bringing-more-than-one-phone-from-abroad\/\">Federal Board of Revenue<\/a> (FBR), this is consistent with the agency&#8217;s efforts to include Tier-1 retailers and restaurants in the tax system using POS invoicing.<\/p>\n<p>A team from RTO Islamabad, headed by a Deputy Commissioner, sealed two eateries and their affiliated locations in the city after concluding that the claimed receipts were fake.
