{"id":58858,"date":"2024-12-11T19:29:48","date_gmt":"2024-12-11T14:29:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=58858"},"modified":"2024-12-11T19:29:48","modified_gmt":"2024-12-11T14:29:48","slug":"lahore-biker-fined-rs-150-000-for-traffic-violations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lahore-biker-fined-rs-150-000-for-traffic-violations\/","title":{"rendered":"Lahore biker fined Rs 150, 000 for traffic violations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Traffic police have fined a motorcyclist Rs154,000 for violating<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karachi-bans-double-parking-to-ease-traffic-congestion\/\"> traffic rules<\/a> 86 times, here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>As per the details, a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/sialkot-airport-city-traffic-police-jointly-carried-out-traffic-awareness-session-and-driving-license-registration-camp\/\">traffic police<\/a> spokesperson said the motorcyclist was fined 73 times for not wearing a helmet, nine times for violating traffic signals, three times for violating one-way traffic and once for violating lane discipline.<\/p>\n<p>He said the motorcyclist\u2019s motorcycle has been impounded at the police station for repeated violations. The motorcycle will be returned to the person only after paying the fine.<\/p>\n<p>This is the highest fine ever imposed on any motorcyclist. The e-challan system is in place for 19 violations of traffic rules.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic authorities in Lahore have stepped up their crackdown on repeat violations to ensure road safety.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, authorities introduced AI-based e-challans, a technological innovation to automate the detection and enforcement of traffic violations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Traffic police have fined a motorcyclist Rs154,000 for violating traffic rules 86 times, here on Wednesday.
