{"id":58959,"date":"2024-12-12T23:02:38","date_gmt":"2024-12-12T18:02:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=58959"},"modified":"2024-12-12T23:04:18","modified_gmt":"2024-12-12T18:04:18","slug":"karachi-man-gets-9-years-jail-for-sharing-obscene-ex-fiance-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karachi\/karachi-man-gets-9-years-jail-for-sharing-obscene-ex-fiance-photos\/","title":{"rendered":"Karachi man gets 9 years jail for sharing obscene ex-fianc\u00e9 photos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: A judicial magistrate on Thursday sentenced a man to nine years in prison for sharing<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/indian-actress-pragya-nagras-alleged-obscene-video-leaked-online\/\"> \u201cindecent\u201d pictures and videos<\/a> of a girl on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Judicial Magistrate South issued the verdict in a case filed under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/raoof-hasan-others-get-post-arrest-bail-in-peca-act-case\/\">PECA<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The court sent the man, identified as Muhammad Shoaib, to nine years in prison and also imposed a fine of Rs90,000 on him after he was found guilty.<\/p>\n<p>According to the court, the man was convicted in a similar case in 2017 and his appeal is still pending in the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/sindh-high-court-orders-retake-of-mdcat-within-four-weeks\/\">Sindh High Court<\/a> (SHC).<\/p>\n<p>The court remarked that the accused was harassing the woman by spreading indecent pictures and videos on social media platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The court said that the accused was deliberately damaging the reputation of the victim.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) revealed that the accused was the fianc\u00e9e of the victim and had made her pictures viral after their engagement broke off.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: A judicial magistrate on Thursday sentenced a man to nine years in prison for sharing \u201cindecent\u201d pictures and videos of a girl on social media.
