KARACHI: In an unusual <\/span>incident<\/span> that<\/span> has left many in <\/span>a daze,<\/span>\u00a0two armed dacoits<\/a> snatched 10 kilograms of minced meat from a butcher in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What’s even more surprising is that the thieves, who were armed and wearing masks, didn’t demand or take any of the butcher’s valuable belongings, including his mobile phone<\/a> and cash.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the victim, <\/span>it<\/span> happened<\/span> early in the morning when he was transporting the minced meat and other items to his shop on a cart. <\/span>The<\/span> two armed men stopped him at gunpoint and demanded that he hand over the minced meat<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the thieves threatened to shoot the butcher if he informed anyone about the incident. The butcher, <\/span>visibly shaken by the incident, <\/span>told<\/span> the <\/span>media<\/span> that he was shocked when the dacoits <\/span>did<\/span> not <\/span>touch his mobile phone or cash, <\/span>which<\/span> they<\/span> could<\/span> have<\/span> easily<\/span> taken<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

They <\/span>took <\/span>only <\/span>the minced meat, <\/span>valued at <\/span>around<\/span> Rs12,000, <\/span>as<\/span> the average price of beef mince in Karachi is Rs1,200 per kilogram.<\/p>\n

The incident <\/span>raised many questions<\/span> as<\/span> to<\/span> what could <\/span>motivate<\/span> the thieves to steal <\/span>the minced meat<\/span> only<\/span>. <\/span>Yet,<\/span> the police have not <\/span>had<\/span> a word\u00a0about <\/span>the <\/span>whole <\/span>incident, <\/span>and <\/span>it <\/span>has<\/span> been<\/span> proven<\/span> to<\/span> be<\/span> a really weird<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>and <\/span>strange<\/span> case of theft.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
