LAHORE: In a recent development, the Punjab Education Department<\/a> has announced a revised winter vacation schedule for schools across the province.<\/p>\n

As per the revised notification, all schools in Punjab will observe winter vacations from December 23 instead of the previously announced date of December 20, 2024. The break will be effective till January 10, 2025, and will apply to both public and private schools.<\/p>\n

The revised winter vacation<\/a> schedule proves that students and teachers will get an equal break at the provincial level. With the contribution of an off on January 11, students will be welcomed back to schools: hence, reopening will take place on January 13.<\/p>\n

The Punjab government had earlier announced winter vacations of 22 days for schools across the province from December 20 to January 10.<\/p>\n

In a separate move, the Sindh government has announced major relief for school children and their parents throughout the province.<\/p>\n

On the instruction of Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, the Directorate of Private Institutions has made a concession on the winter uniform wearing attire. Rather, students can wear any kind of warm clothing in the freezing winter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
