The court also sent Nurse Subia, Abu Bakr, Sharif, and Hasnain each to three years in prison and a fine of Rs50,000 each.<\/p>\n<p>Taxila police registered the case in March 2023 on charges of their involvement in illegal Kidney transplantation.<\/p>\n<p>In view of solid evidence presented by police, the court sentenced the criminals, the Rawalpindi police spokesperson said in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>Following the conviction, CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani commended the SSP Investigation and the investigative and legal teams, the police said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI: District and Session Judge Rawalpindi sentenced five accused to a total of 26 years in prison and a fine of Rs1.2 million over the charges of illegal kidney transplantation.
