{"id":59732,"date":"2024-12-19T22:30:09","date_gmt":"2024-12-19T17:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=59732"},"modified":"2024-12-19T22:30:09","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T17:30:09","slug":"mdcat-2024-only-10-karachi-students-top-100","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karachi\/mdcat-2024-only-10-karachi-students-top-100\/","title":{"rendered":"MDCAT 2024: Only 10 Karachi students top 100"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: The final list of Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 retake results compiled by <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/iba-sukkur-to-re-conduct-mdcat-after-iba-karachi-withdrawal\/\">IBA Sukkur<\/a> has revealed that only 10 candidates from Karachi managed to make it to the top 100.<\/p>\n<p>According to the results announced by IBA Sukkur, a majority of students from Karachi failed to clear the test as only 43.29% of the candidates cleared the test for MBBS admissions.<\/p>\n<p>For BDS, 50.66% of the candidates managed to qualify, the MDCAT 2024 results showed.<\/p>\n<p>The retake of MDCAT 2024 was taken by 32,200 candidates, with students from Ranipur, Badin, Khairpur, and Tharparkar securing the highest scores of 192 marks.<\/p>\n<p>It is to be noted that the retake of MDCAT 2024 was conducted on the orders of the Sindh High Court (SHC) on complaints of paper leakage.<\/p>\n<p>Following the orders, the Sindh government has tasked IBA Sukkur to conduct the entry test for the Medical and Dental College Entrance Test 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Medical and Dental College Entrance Test (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/mdcat-2024-retake-expected-date-in-islamabad-announced\/\">MDCAT 2024<\/a>) will once again be held in Islamabad on December 22.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has been informed about the latest schedule of MDCAT 2024. The sources added that a decision on the roll numbers of the candidates and the examination centers is expected next week.<\/p>\n<p>The sources added that more than 30 examination centers will be set up across Islamabad for the test for the 17,597 candidates registered for the re-examination of the Medical and Dental College Entrance Test 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The recent registrations have shown a sharp decline in the number of candidates wishing to take the test.
