{"id":59764,"date":"2024-12-20T12:27:03","date_gmt":"2024-12-20T07:27:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=59764"},"modified":"2024-12-20T12:27:03","modified_gmt":"2024-12-20T07:27:03","slug":"cda-to-introduce-digital-parking-in-islamabads-major-parks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad\/cda-to-introduce-digital-parking-in-islamabads-major-parks\/","title":{"rendered":"CDA to introduce digital parking in Islamabad&#8217;s major parks"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"td_block_wrap tdb_single_content tdi_18 td-pb-border-top td_block_template_1 td-post-content tagdiv-type\" data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_18\">\n<p class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad\/cda-seals-islamabads-marriott-hotel-for-legal-violations\/\">CDA<\/a>) has decided to introduce <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/automobile\/cda-unveils-plan-to-fully-electrify-commercial-buses\/\">digital parking<\/a> systems in major parks of Islamabad to generate revenue earmarked for their development and maintenance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">The decision was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Thursday to discuss efforts to improve resource management, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">Senior officials, including CDA Members, the Director General Resource Wing, the Executive Director of Capital Hospital, and other key officers, participated in the meeting. The meeting evaluated plans to optimize operations across key CDA departments and wings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">Stressing the importance of inter-departmental coordination, the CDA chief instructed the Resource Wing to monitor progress, address gaps, and ensure the timely execution of proposals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">During the meeting, the chairman CDA tasked the Environment Wing with identifying revenue-generating sites, re-auctioning inactive properties, and introducing premium recreational facilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">Other measures proposed during the high-level meeting include mandatory medical screenings and vaccinations for workers in barber shops, food outlets, and similar establishments as part of licensing requirements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">Randhawa instructed the reduction of local medicine purchases and called for the appointment of a Director of Finance.
