Thankfully, the fire was contained by the swift action of the<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/five-dead-as-migrant-boat-carrying-many-pakistanis-capsizes-in-greek-waters\/\"> rescue teams<\/a>, and the blaze was put off.<\/p>\n<p>Some equipments were damaged, but there were no casualties; children undergoing treatment were moved to other wards as the incident was reported.<\/p>\n<p>The incident itself is not the first of its own kind with an NICH, as earlier an infant received serious burn injuries after an incubator caught<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/karachis-rampa-plaza-hit-by-another-fire\/\"> fire<\/a> at the hospital. NICH Director confirmed the incident and that the incubator had caught fire inside the ICU and a newborn girl was maimed by flames.<\/p>\n<p>An inquiry is being sought to establish the cause-we are told, hospital sources suspected a short circuit.
