KARACHI: In a recent development, Pakistan saw a spike in gold prices<\/a> on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola receiving a new hike by Rs1,400 to Rs. 274,000.<\/p>\n

According to data provided by the Sarafa Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 1,200, reaching Rs. 234,911 from Rs. 233,711. 10-gram, 22-karat gold also saw a sharp increase in price, going from Rs. 214,235 to Rs. 215,335.<\/p>\n

The price of silver, on the other hand, was constant at Rs. 3,350 per tola and Rs. 2,872.08 per 10-gram. Due to increases in foreign markets, the price of gold rose $14 globally, from $2,614 to $2,628, as of this writing.<\/p>\n
