It warned that non-payment will result in cancellation of vehicle registration and defaulters may face a fine of up to 200 percent of the unpaid amount.<\/p>\n<p>Director Excise Bilal Azam said that counters in excise offices across Islamabad will remain open till 8 pm to facilitate citizens in depositing token tax.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the department offered vehicle-related services at Trail 3 parking lot from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. According to an <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad\/islamabad-district-and-sessions-courts-announce-winter-vacation-schedule\/\">ICT administration<\/a> spokesperson, excise staff facilitated vehicle owners who were seeking registration, transfer and token tax processing.<\/p>\n<p>The excise spokesperson said that this move not only simplifies vehicle-related paperwork but also introduces ICT doorstep service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has announced a 15-day extension to the last date for payment of vehicle token tax.
