However, after the news spread, a call from a high-ranking political figure led to the release of the man, though the alcohol was confiscated. Sources at the airport revealed that anchor had contacted customs officials to arrange special treatment for his brother\u2019s arrival.<\/p>\n<p>Following the incident, the case was escalated to senior officials, including the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Subsequently, the authorities took action, seizing the alcohol but allowing the suspect to leave.
