However, the temperatures are set to drop below freezing point accompanied by gusty winds during the night causing chilling weather in the federal capital.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/tarbela-dam-attains-maximum-water-storage-level\/\"> maximum temperature<\/a> recorded today ranges up to 14 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 06 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/o-a-level-exams-to-proceed-as-scheduled-amid-sco-summit\/\">humidity level<\/a> in the federal capital ranges between 40 to 48% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 6 km\/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 15% today.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Met Office, Today, there is a possibility of traffic disruption due to snowfall in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Naran, Kaghan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla and Gilgit-Baltistan due to road closures and slippage.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, strong winds\/squeezes with rain and snowfall on the mountains are expected in North\/Northwest Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining areas. The weather is likely to remain cold and dry in other parts of the country. However, light to moderate fog is expected in most districts of Punjab and upper Sindh during the night.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz a rain spell is expected in various parts of the country, including Islamabad, around January 20 due to winds entering Balochistan from Iran.<\/p>\n<p>Upper parts of the country will also receive rain and snowfall after January 20, he said.
