It is expected to serve as a key hub for both local and international investors, particularly Chinese Businesses.<\/p>\n<p>The special economic zone will be established for economic revival under the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"newsdetailcontent\">\n<p>The Dhabeji Special Economic Zone will be completed under a Public-Private Partnership model, the state-run <em>Radio Pakistan<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The zone\u2019s strategic location near Karachi\u2019s Ports will provide direct access to global trade routes, it read.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"rt-dropcap-style-1\">The SEZ aims to support industrial growth, increase exports, and enhance self-reliance in Pakistan\u2019s economy, the statement read.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The government has signed an agreement with Chinese and local investors for the establishment of the &#8220;Dhabeji Special Economic Zone&#8221; in Thatta.
