ISLAMABAD:\u00a0 For February 2025, the petrol prices<\/a> in Pakistan are most likely to change amid ongoing fluctuation in international market.<\/p>\n

Global oil prices have\u00a0<\/span>reached<\/span>\u00a0a two-week low after US President Donald Trump\u00a0<\/span>asked<\/span>\u00a0OPEC to reduce\u00a0<\/span>the price of\u00a0<\/span>oil<\/span>. This\u00a0<\/span>development<\/span>\u00a0is\u00a0<\/span>likely<\/span>\u00a0to\u00a0<\/span>affect<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the price of\u00a0<\/span>petroleum\u00a0<\/span>products<\/span>\u00a0in Pakistan,\u00a0<\/span>and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>accordingly,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the public is expecting\u00a0<\/span>that the government\u00a0<\/span>may<\/span> revise prices in the\u00a0<\/span>coming<\/span>\u00a0review.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet<\/span>,\u00a0<\/span>according to\u00a0<\/span>media reports<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>price<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>will<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>not be reduced<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>though<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>global<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>oil<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>prices<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>have<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>gone<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>down<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Expected Petrol Prices from February 2025<\/a><\/h2>\n

The government is likely to hike the petrol price by Rs3 per litre to Rs259.13 while the diesel price would be increased by Rs6 to Rs266.95 per litre.<\/p>\n

The final decision will be taken by the government after reviewing the summary of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and will be effective from February 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
