LAHORE: The Punjab government\u2019s\u00a0CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025<\/a>\u00a0is all set to distribute thousands of the\u00a0latest laptops<\/a> among meritorious students from intermediate (inter), matriculation, and postgraduate levels.<\/p>\n

Under the laptop scheme, students in the province will get Core i7 and 13th-generation laptops. These high-performance laptops will support students in their academic and research endeavors.<\/p>\n

Specially 2000 minority students along with position holders in\u00a0Secondary and\u00a0Higher Secondary School Examinations will be able to receive the laptops. Additionally, students from South Punjab will make up 32% of the laptop recipients.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Allocations under the laptop scheme<\/a><\/h2>\n

The laptops will be allocated to 20,000 university students, 14,000 college students, 4,000 technical and agricultural college students, and 2,000 medical and dental college students.<\/p>\n

The scheme will benefit students studying a range of disciplines, including computer science, medicine, science, engineering, social sciences, business, language, veterinary medicine, and agriculture.<\/p>\n

How to register for the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme<\/a><\/h2>\n

Unlike previous years, the Punjab govt has announced that there will be no online application platform for the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025.<\/p>\n

Instead, the data of eligible students will be compiled directly by educational institutions.<\/p>\n

The institutions will submit their lists of chosen students to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Punjab.<\/p>\n

Later, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Punjab will validate and release the final list of selected students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Students who meet the eligibility criteria can easily register for the scheme through the official portal of the laptop scheme: testlpt.punjabhec.gov.pk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eligibility criteria for the laptop scheme<\/a><\/h2>\n

The eligibility criteria for getting the laptop under the Punjab government\u2019s scheme include:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Must be domiciled in any district of Punjab.<\/li>\n
  • Applicant\u2019s age should not exceed 22 years as of the last date.<\/li>\n
  • Family monthly income should be less than Rs 300,000 (Affidavit will be required).<\/li>\n
  • The applicant must be enrolled in the selected subjects in the selected universities and colleges in Fall Session 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The selection of students for the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme will be based on the following factors:<\/p>\n

    • Academic Performance: Students with higher marks and GPAs will be prioritized.<\/li>\n
    • Written Exam: Some students may be required to pass an online written exam.<\/li>\n
