{"id":65175,"date":"2025-02-11T16:51:28","date_gmt":"2025-02-11T11:51:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=65175"},"modified":"2025-02-11T16:51:28","modified_gmt":"2025-02-11T11:51:28","slug":"saudi-govt-bans-children-from-going-to-hajj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/saudi-govt-bans-children-from-going-to-hajj\/","title":{"rendered":"Saudi govt bans children from going to Hajj"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RIYADH: Saudi Arabia&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/govt-reduces-package-costs-by-up-to-rs-50000\/\">Ministry of Hajj and Umrah<\/a> has introduced a new regulation for the 2025 Hajj season, prohibiting children from accompanying pilgrims to ensure their safety and well-being amidst the large crowds.<\/p>\n<p>Such a provision aims to avert any potential harm to the children during the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/saudi-arabia-suspends-meningitis-vaccine-requirement-for-umrah-pilgrims\/\">pilgrimage<\/a>. As in previous years, priority will be accorded to people who have not performed the Hajj.<\/p>\n<p>Registration for Saudi citizens and residents is open via the Nusuk app and the official online portal.<\/p>\n<p>To register, pilgrims are also required to enter their details, add companions, and submit exemption requests that include accompanying mahrams.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry has launched an installment scheme for domestic pilgrims whereby the Hajj package prices can be paid in three installments: 20 percent within 72 hours of booking, 40 percent by 20 Ramadan, and 40 percent by 20 Shawwal.<\/p>\n<p>Confirmations will be given once the last payment has been received, and each installment will have its invoice.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry has taken note of the early prerequisite preparation required for package sales.
