{"id":65211,"date":"2025-02-11T20:01:41","date_gmt":"2025-02-11T15:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=65211"},"modified":"2025-02-11T20:01:41","modified_gmt":"2025-02-11T15:01:41","slug":"nadra-clarifies-b-forms-cancellation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nadra-clarifies-b-forms-cancellation\/","title":{"rendered":"NADRA clarifies B-Forms \u2018cancellation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/govt-approves-amendments-to-nadra-laws\/\">NADRA<\/a>) has issued a clarification regarding the registration process for \u2018B\u2019 form, stating that previously issued \u2018B\u2019 forms will remain valid and have not been cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>According to NADRA\u2019s official social media post, parents of children who have already obtained \u2018B\u2019 form and need to apply for a passport, or who are between the ages of 10 and 18 and are applying for \u2018B\u2019 form for the first time, should accompany their child to their nearest NADRA centre.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, parents can also submit their applications through NADRA\u2019s PakID mobile app. NADRA has assured the public that there is no truth to the rumours of previously issued \u2018B\u2019 forms being cancelled and has advised people to follow its official social media platforms for updates and more information.<\/p>\n<p>The Family Registration Certificate (FRC) issued by NADRA is an important document that confirms the family structure of an individual.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some key reasons why it is needed both in Pakistan and abroad:<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Abroad<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Visa Applications:<\/strong>\u00a0Often required when applying for visas to prove family relationships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Immigration:<\/strong>\u00a0Used in immigration processes to verify family ties.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Embassy Use:<\/strong>\u00a0Helps in various consular services provided by Pakistani embassies and consulates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>International Admissions:<\/strong>\u00a0Needed for enrolling children in educational institutions abroad.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>In Pakistan<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Government Jobs:<\/strong>\u00a0Required for applying to certain government positions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational Admissions:<\/strong>\u00a0Needed for enrolling children in some schools and universities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Legal Matters:<\/strong>\u00a0Used in various family-related legal proceedings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Welfare Schemes:<\/strong>\u00a0Essential for availing government welfare programs and social schemes.<\/p>\n<p>The Family Registration Certificate (FRC) contains essential details about family members and can be obtained in three categories:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>By Birth:<\/strong>\u00a0The certificate lists family details, including parents and siblings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>By Marriage:<\/strong>\u00a0The certificate includes the spouse and children.<\/li>\n<li><strong>By Adoption:<\/strong>\u00a0The certificate provides details of the guardian.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>It is important to know that if an individual is not registered with NADRA or does not have a 13-digit Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number, his\/her data will not be included in the Family Registration Certificate (FRC). Therefore, if the applicant is a minor or a minor, the applicant should first go for CNIC or B-Form.<\/p>\n<p>To apply for a Family Registration Certificate (FRC), citizens can visit their nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or submit an application through the Pak-Shenqat website.
