{"id":66054,"date":"2025-02-20T14:12:24","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T09:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=66054"},"modified":"2025-02-20T14:14:01","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T09:14:01","slug":"over-120-pti-workers-get-bail-in-november-26-protest-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/over-120-pti-workers-get-bail-in-november-26-protest-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 120 PTI workers get bail in November 26 protest case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD (Muhammad Ibrahim Abbasi): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted bail to over 120 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers arrested during the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/bushra-bibis-bail-pleas-rejected-in-november-26-protest-cases\/\">November 26 protest<\/a> and ordered their immediate release.<\/p>\n<p>A bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif heard the case. PTI lawyers including Ali Bukhari, Babar Awan, Murtaza Tori, and others appeared.<\/p>\n<p>The court ordered the arrested PTI workers to submit surety bonds worth Rs 20,000 each.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the court also directed all the workers to submit an affidavit at the police station, in which they will have to assure that they will not commit such a crime in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) announced the verdict on bail applications for 400 accused involved in cases related to the PTI protest on November 26.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain approved the bail for 250 accused across 13 cases while rejecting the applications of 150 others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD (Muhammad Ibrahim Abbasi): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted bail to over 120 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers arrested during the November 26 protest and ordered their immediate release.
