ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to introduce a user-friendly online payment service<\/a>, <\/span>ensuring a more transparent and efficient financial framework.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the proposed plan, the CDA will shift all its utility bill payments to a cashless digital system.<\/span><\/p>\n

The decision was made during the fourth CDA Board meeting, chaired by Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and attended by all board members.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The CDA has taken a significant step toward enhancing customer convenience and digitalization by introducing a user-friendly online payment service for utility bills,” an official said.<\/p>\n

Now, he said the residents of Islamabad can conveniently pay their water bills, property taxes, and other service bills from the comfort of their homes, making life more accessible and hassle-free.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, it was revealed that payments for 165 services provided at the One Window Operation have already been shifted to a digital system. <\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, water tanker charges and Islamabad Water accounts have been integrated with QR code-based cashless payments.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CDA officials briefed the board that the transition would eventually cover all financial transactions, including fines from the Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA), and Environment, and Enforcement departments.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To further enhance financial management, the board also approved the implementation of the SAP double-entry accounting system within CDA. <\/span><\/p>\n

Officials were directed to compile a complete record of CDA\u2019s assets by the end of the fiscal year. Chairman Randhawa instructed that a corporate-style financial report be prepared, detailing the authority\u2019s achievements and targets for the year.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
