DUBAI: After losing the opening batters early on, skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel have built a much-needed partnership and kept the scoreboard ticking.<\/p>\n

At the 32 over, Pakistan is batting at 142 for the loss of 2 wickets and both skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel are trying to accelerate the run-rate.<\/p>\n

Saud Shakeel lobbed Jadeja for a four in the 31st over, crossing the fifty-run mark.<\/p>\n

Pakistan would be pleased by not losing more wickets but the slow run rate has troubled the side after Pakistan played 80 dot balls in the first 20 overs.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the inning, Babar got out to Hardik Pandya’s second ball of the 9th over as he found the batter\u2019s outside edge after getting dispatched for a boundary.<\/div>\n

In the next over,\u00a0Imam-ul-Haq got caught run out trying to steal a run by Patel from mid-off.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first in a must-win Champions Trophy match.<\/p>\n

On the toss, Muhammad Rizwan said that it looks good that is why we want to bat first and put a good target on the board,\u201d the Pakistan captain said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe boys are familiar with these conditions and if you look in the past we did well in this ground but we want to do well today as well,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a surface that looks similar to the last game here, looks on the slower side but we have to come out and bowl well,\u201d the Indian captain said.<\/p>\n

Pakistan have one change since their last match against New Zealand, with Imam-ul-Haq replacing Fakhar Zaman as the latter has been ruled out of the tournament after being injured in Pakistan\u2019s opening match in Karachi.<\/p>\n

The Rohit Sharma-led side are unchanged since their last encounter against Bangladesh at the same stadium, which they won by six wickets.<\/p>\n
