{"id":66446,"date":"2025-02-25T11:18:52","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T06:18:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=66446"},"modified":"2025-02-25T11:19:23","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T06:19:23","slug":"nadra-launches-new-service-for-bank-deposits-through-e-sahulat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/nadra-launches-new-service-for-bank-deposits-through-e-sahulat\/","title":{"rendered":"NADRA launches new service for bank deposits through e-Sahulat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lhc-orders-reinstatement-of-nadra-chairman\/\">National Database and Registration Authority<\/a> (NADRA) has\u00a0recently introduced a service that allows Pakistani citizens to deposit money in their accounts at over 50 banks through<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nadra-launches-pak-id-mobile-app-for-visa-on-arrival\/\"> NADRA e-Sahalat.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This facility will be available at more than 9,000 e-Sahulat franchises throughout the country, with<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nadra-to-introduce-enhanced-b-form-with-biometric-features-to-protect-childrens-identity\/\"> biometric verification<\/a> of the depositors.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative aims at ensuring broad access to financial services and expanding digital banking throughout the country. NADRA also clarified that problems arising from the biometrics are not a result of its system, and facilities for identity verification through the &#8220;Verisys&#8221; system are available to all financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p>This ground-breaking step follows an agreement signed between NADRA Technologies Limited and 1LINK. The ceremony was attended by State Bank of Pakistan Deputy Governor Saleemullah and the NADRA Chairman.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, NADRA\u00a0 is introducing a facial recognition verification system, jointly with the State Bank of Pakistan and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.
