{"id":66826,"date":"2025-03-01T17:44:52","date_gmt":"2025-03-01T12:44:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=66826"},"modified":"2025-03-01T17:44:52","modified_gmt":"2025-03-01T12:44:52","slug":"first-ever-special-bus-service-for-rural-women-launched-in-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/first-ever-special-bus-service-for-rural-women-launched-in-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"First-ever special bus service for rural women launched in Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/cm-punjab-maryam-nawaz-launches-electric-bus-service-in-lahore\/\"> Maryam Nawaz<\/a> has decided to start a special bus service for rural women, a first of its kind in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>A bus service will be started for women living in the villages of the province from every rural tehsil to the district headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>She also reviewed the proposal to start a phased mass transit system consisting of 25 buses in remote districts. The Chief Minister has also called for an inter-village transport plan.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister has issued instructions to provide subsidy to women passengers in the mass transit system.<\/p>\n<p>Punjab\u2019s first Women Transport Solution Plan will also be prepared on the instructions of the Chief Minister.<\/p>\n<p>Maryam Nawaz said that women living in rural areas also have the right to a modern transport system as it will provide them with great relief.<\/p>\n<p>She said that the provision of modern transport will help increase the confidence level of rural women and make travel easier for female students and patients.<\/p>\n<p>He added that it is very sad to see rural women traveling on public transport in difficult conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has decided to start a special bus service for rural women, a first of its kind in Pakistan.
