ISLAMBAD: Pakistani citizens residing in European countries need to approach the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) for the issuance of National Identity Card (NICOP) for Overseas Pakistanis.<\/p>\n

NADRA NICOP is essential for Pakistani citizens who intend to travel abroad or settle in foreign countries.<\/p>\n

NADRA is the sole authority authorized to issue the document to Pakistanis.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting here that any citizen of Pakistan is eligible to apply for NADRA NICOP, which enables dual nationals to enter Pakistan without a visa. To apply for Smart NICOP, a valid passport number is mandatory.<\/p>\n

Pakistanis can submit their applications at any NADRA<\/a> office in Pakistan, while Pakistanis residing abroad can visit their respective consulates or apply for NICOP online.<\/p>\n

NADRA has divided countries into two categories: Zone A and Zone B.<\/p>\n

Zone A includes European and Western countries such as Canada, while Zone B includes Arab countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n

NICOP Fee in Rupees, Dollars for Europe<\/h2>\n

The fee to apply for NADRA NICOP remains unchanged at Rs 11,340 for normal proceeding, urgent fee stands at Rs 16,589 while the executive fee is Rs 21,820 as of Dec 2024.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the normal fee for a new Smart NICOP stands at $39 while the urgent fee remains at $57 and the executive fee stands at $75.<\/p>\n

  • Your fingerprints and signature will be recorded.<\/li>\n
  • Complete the required data entry.<\/li>\n
