The accused,\u00a0 first killed his father, and when Shakeel Khan attempted to intervene, he opened fire and killed him too.<\/p>\n<p>According to the police, the accused is allegedly addicted to drugs and in an unstable mental state.<\/p>\n<p>The former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan expressed his great sorrow and grief in a post published on social media while mourning his brother&#8217;s death, \u00a0He said that his elder brother Shakeel Ahmed Khan was very dear to him, and was like a father figure. He called the incident \u2018worst atrocity\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Condolences poured in from various quarters, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, who reached out to Mushtaq Khan and condemned the murder.<\/p>\n<p>CM Gandapur assured that the accused will be severely punished according to the law. The funeral prayer of Shakeel Ahmed Khan is scheduled to take place at 3 PM in his native village Ahmed Kali.
