ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB<\/a>) has confirmed that batting consultant Mohammad Yousuf<\/a> will now accompany the national team on a white-ball tour of New Zealand. The announcement comes after Yousuf had earlier pulled out of the tour citing personal reasons, citing the health of his ailing daughter.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media, Yousuf shared a positive update on his daughter\u2019s health, saying, \u201cThe doctors have said that my daughter is better now, so I am going with the team.\u201d The former Pakistan captain\u2019s decision to rejoin the squad has been welcomed by the PCB and the players, as his presence is considered crucial for the team\u2019s preparations.<\/p>\n

The national men\u2019s team is set to leave for New Zealand<\/a> on Wednesday morning, where they will play a series of five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) and three One-Day Internationals. The matches are scheduled to be played at various venues in New Zealand between March 16 and April 5.<\/p>\n
