{"id":68384,"date":"2025-03-18T17:53:28","date_gmt":"2025-03-18T12:53:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=68384"},"modified":"2025-03-18T17:53:28","modified_gmt":"2025-03-18T12:53:28","slug":"govt-announces-holidays-for-eid-ul-fitr-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/govt-announces-holidays-for-eid-ul-fitr-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt announces holidays for Eid ul Fitr 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/uae-lottery-unveils-new-winners-heres-how-to-check-online\/\">UAE<\/a>) announced Eid ul-Fitr holidays on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>According to foreign media, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has issued a circular announcing that Eid ul-Fitr holidays in the federal government sector will be from 1 to 3 Shawwal, with government work resuming from 4 Shawwal.<\/p>\n<p>If Ramadan lasts 30 days, an additional holiday on 30 Ramadan will extend the Eid break.<\/p>\n<p>As for the private sector, no official schedule has been released yet, but it is hoped that employees will also get similar holidays.<\/p>\n<p>If the Shawwal moon is sighted on Saturday, March 29, Eid will be on Sunday, March 30, with holidays from Sunday to Tuesday\u2014most employees will get a four-day weekend from Saturday to Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>If the moon is not sighted, the 30 days of<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad-administration-arrests-102-shopkeepers-in-price-crackdown-during-ramadan\/\"> Ramadan<\/a> will be complete and Eid will begin on Monday, March 31.
